About Michael Peter

Michael Peter Forian Zytynsky has more than a decade of experience working in media, international relations, and on the federal, provincial and municipal political scenes.
He started his professional career as a journalist for Bell Media and has appeared regularly on CTV, CBC, and Global News to analyze and comment on Canadian current events.
Michael Peter has served governments in both eastern and western Canada, notably in the Government of Quebec where he was an advisor to the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Minister for Indigenous Affairs, and for the Government of Alberta as press secretary and senior communications advisor in various offices.
Outside of government, he acted as Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Senior Advisor to the President & CEO at the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA), a non-profit organization that brings together world leaders, leading experts, and business professionals to exchange views and perspectives on major economic issues.
